There was a lot of uncertainty left after the election on May 6th but the one thing we can be sure about is that Labour Lost. Gordon Brown was unpopular and the last 13 years have given us a government who did all sorts of things which many people considered were against the interests of freedom, democracy and the best interests of Britain and British people.

The electorate have spoken and they do not want Labour in power. We may not be enthusiastic for the Tories either but they do offer a change of direction and it would appear that the offers made to the Liberals seem reasonable. A Tory government with the restraining hand of the Liberal Democrats doesn’t sound such a bad option but A Labour and Liberal Democrat government sounds like a rejection of the electorate, bad news for the country but perhaps worst of all a complete disaster for the Liberal Democrats.

We have had 13 years of a dictatorial Labour government that cares nothing for the civil liberties of the British people and it is time for a change. Nick Clegg went to the country on a platform of change but a Lib/Lab coalition would not represent the change we want or need.
