David Milliband Demonstrates Politicians Disdain For The Electorate

In another clear sign that the politicians just don’t ‘get it’ we had David Milliband, the Foreign Secretary, saying that the politicians must understand the “distain and cynicism ” people feel because of the “poisonous activities” of a few politicians. He doesn’t get it does he.

We are sick not only of the few who went to town ripping the heart out of the available expenses system but we are sick of politicians expecting us to respond when they treat us as children. So often we can see through the spin and we know they are basically either lying or simply trying to fool us. We have seen so many examples of being given treat on the one hand while our pockets were being picked by the other and this was by the then chancellor and now Prime Minister.

If the Labour party had listened to the public and ditched Gordon Brown in favour of someone without a dubious record of spin and back stabbing they might have stood a better chance in this election. Instead of which they have probably sentenced us to a period of Tory rule for the next eight years.
