Gordon Brown Shows His True Colours And Calls A Supporter A Bigot

Some will say that it is ok to say what you think in private and we are, after all, entitled to have our own opinion but Gordon Brown’s careless and insulting remarks about a woman he spoke to today must surely go down as one of the biggest political gaffs of this election.

Gordon Brown actually spoke to a member of the public today. She was a 65 year old grandmother who has been a Labour supporter all her life. She raised some concerns she has with the Prime Minister in what appears to be a perfectly friendly and reasonable way.

Once away from her and in the car he was unaware he still had a live radio microphone on him and he made some incredibly insulting comments about the woman and asked why she had been allowed to meet him and speak with him. The contempt Goron Brown shows for the electorate by dismissing our concerns is insulting to us all and shows Gordon Brown in his true colours. It demonstates exactly why his minders have made sure he doesn’t get to meet real people instead of just Labour Party supporters.

The careless disrespect and arrogance of GB when it comes to any opinion other than his own seems to be a major characteristic of his. Just because someone, who happens to be one of his supporters, questioned his governments’ response to problems in her area he automatically labeled her a “bigoted woman” and said he should never have met her.

Well, I am sorry Mr Brown. The real world is out here and if you don’t like it then I have news for you. Nor do we. You have played a major part in managing the country and turned it into the place it is. A Place where nobody can genuinely feel safe from the banking system, criminals or the state. Everyone has concerns and you should listen to them and respond rather than dismissing the electorate as idiots.

His staff had best hide all the phones if they don’t want them to be flying at their heads.
